Job Summary:

As an Occupational Therapist at Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients maintain and improve their mental, physical, and emotional well-being. You will design and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing a variety of techniques and strategies to promote independence, safety, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with varying needs and conditions

• Implement and modify treatment plans as needed, incorporating evidence-based practice and best practices in occupational therapy

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care and communication

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on skills and strategies for promoting independence and safety

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and outcomes

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• Minimum 0 years of experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)

• Current certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Pennsylvania
