Laundry Aide

Mohawk Meadows Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a skilled nursing facility in Lafayette, NJ, is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide for our overnight shift, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. This is an overnight-only position — please apply only if you are available to work this schedule.

In this role, you’ll keep clean, fresh linens and garments flowing to our residents and care teams through the night, playing a quiet but essential part in resident comfort and dignity.

What you’ll do:

• Wash, dry, fold, and sort linens, towels, and resident clothing

• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and follow proper handling procedures

• Sort and separate soiled items following infection control and safety guidelines

• Distribute and stock clean linens to units and designated areas

• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and stocked

• Follow facility policies and applicable regulations for handling, labeling, and tracking resident items

What we’re looking for:

• Availability to work the overnight shift, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM — required

• Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable working independently during overnight hours

• Able to stand, bend, lift, and be on your feet throughout the shift
