Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Morris County.

About This Opportunity 

We’re looking for a laid-back, dependable DSP to support a 23-year-old guy with a mild intellectual disability. He is very active and enjoys hiking, shopping, and spending time in the community. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle, exploring the outdoors, and helping with everyday responsibilities such as staying on top of schoolwork, time management, and keeping his apartment clean. The ideal fit is someone with a calm, easygoing personality who enjoys being active and providing supportive supervision!

What You’ll Do 

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community. 

• Provide support with community outings, such as shopping and hiking, while helping the individual enjoy themselves and have a good time.

• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals. 

• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs. 

• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions. 

• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team. 

Qualifications 

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule. 

• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one. 

• Experience preferred. 

• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training. 

Schedule: 8 hours per week. (Flexible schedule.)
Pay: 19-22/hr

Driving on shift: REQUIRED
