Job Summary:

As a Chaplain/Bereavement Coordinator at Health Care Facility, you will play a vital role in providing spiritual support and bereavement counseling to our patients and their loved ones. This is a FULL_TIME opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Provide spiritual support and counseling to patients and their families, including chaplaincy services, bereavement counseling, and spiritual assessments

• Develop and implement bereavement programs and services to support patients and their families during times of loss

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address the spiritual and emotional needs of patients and their families

• Conduct memorial services and other spiritual ceremonies to honor the lives of our patients

• Maintain accurate records and reports of patient encounters and bereavement services provided

• Participate in training and education programs to stay current with best practices in spiritual care and bereavement counseling

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a Chaplain or Bereavement Coordinator

• Masters in Divinity

• Strong understanding of spiritual care principles and bereavement counseling theories

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality

• Strong organizational and time management skills
