Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, administer, and document medications under the direction and supervision of a Licensed Nurse

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and positioning

• Provide nursing functions as directed by the supervisor, including reading and following daily care plans

• Maintain accurate records and reports, including food intake and care provision

• Promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and government regulators

• Participate in training, educational activities, and staff meetings

• Assist with orientation and training of new staff

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) in good standing with the State

• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions

• Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with other associates

• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance

• Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation
