Job Summary:

Avir at Live Oak is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SNF Charge Nurse (RN/LVN) to join our team! As a Charge Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of your assigned unit. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treating wounds, and monitoring vital signs

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses, and other health care staff

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents

• Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care

• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care

• Identify and address any potential issues or concerns related to resident care

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Nurse License

• Valid CPR Certification

• I.V. Certification preferred

• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
