Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Nursing to lead our Nursing Department at Springs of Covington in Fort Smith, AR. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing Department, ensuring the highest quality of care and services for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Nursing Department, including staffing, scheduling, and facility policies

• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards

• Collaborate with the Executive Director and other departments to achieve overall facility goals and objectives

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the nursing staff, including education, training, and performance evaluations

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care and services

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and develop strategies to improve resident outcomes and satisfaction

• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with Long Term Care Experience and Management Experience

• Minimum (1) year of experience as a Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
