About the Role:

As an Elder Care Companion, you will work with a diverse range of clients, from veterans to seniors, who require non-medical care and support. You will be responsible for:

• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies together

• Assisting with daily living tasks, such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry

• Encouraging clients to maintain their independence and engage in activities they enjoy

• Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and care provided

• Collaborating with other caregivers and care coordinators to ensure seamless delivery of care

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 1 year of experience in a caregiving role (paid or volunteer) preferred

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with seniors and veterans

• Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends

• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to client locations

• Valid fingerprint clearance card (required for all employees)
