NOW HIRING – EXPERIENCED LIVE-IN CAREGIVER

5–6 Days Per Week | Long-Term Live-In Position

SVNA Home Assistance is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and highly experienced Live-In Caregiver to provide dedicated, one-on-one care for a client in Lakeville, CT.

We are looking for an individual who understands the importance of consistency, safety, patience, and building a trusting relationship with the person in their care.

Our goal is to find someone who can commit to a consistent 5- or 6-day-per-week live-in schedule, providing stability, companionship, and exceptional care in the comfort of the client's home.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior live-in caregiving experience is REQUIRED.

• Must be able to provide professional references from previous live-in caregiving positions, preferably from former clients or their families.

• Must have hands-on experience caring for individuals living with dementia.

• Must be knowledgeable and experienced in safe transfer techniques, mobility assistance, and fall prevention.

• Must understand dementia-related behaviors and be comfortable providing reassurance, redirection, and support.

• Must have experience assisting with personal care and activities of daily living.

• Must be patient, compassionate, reliable, and attentive to the client's changing needs.

• Must be able to commit to a consistent live-in schedule of 5–6 days per week.

• Must demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and respect for client dignity and privacy.

IMPORTANT: Previous live-in caregiving experience, verifiable live-in references, dementia care experience, and demonstrated competency in safe transfers are mandatory requirements for this position.
