Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medications administered, including dose, time, and patient response

• Monitor patients' vital signs and medication side effects, reporting any concerns to the healthcare team

• Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Participate in patient education and discharge planning

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control guidelines

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 0 years of experience in the healthcare industry (entry-level candidates welcome to apply)

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care

• Graduate of approved Nurse Aide Training Program or be eligible to enter such a program and graduate and pass a state test within 120 days from date of employment

• An understanding of resident care procedures and standards.

• Prior experience in a healthcare environment is desirable.
