Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards

• Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure effective communication and coordination of care

• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

• Provide clinical direction and mentorship to nurses and other staff members

• Develop and manage department budgets and resources

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role

• Current Florida RN licensure

• Strong clinical knowledge and skills in nursing practice

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
