Job Summary:

Pine Haven Rehabilitation and Wellness Center is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activity Aide to join our team at our Eight Mile, AL facility. As an Activity Aide, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our patients, while promoting a positive and engaging environment that fosters healing and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities for patients, including games, arts and crafts, and social events

• Monitor and document patient participation and progress in activities

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and staff

• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding, serving, and cleaning up after meals

• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols

• Collaborate with rehabilitation teams to develop individualized activity plans that meet patient needs and goals

• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Activity Director or designee

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds

• Reliable transportation to and from work
