Job Summary:

We are seeking a Bus Driver to join our team at Dyer Nursing and Rehab, a leading healthcare provider in Dyer, Indiana. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients and staff members to and from our facility. Your exceptional driving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care will make a positive impact on our community.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate our buses and transport patients and staff members to and from our facility, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure its safety and readiness for use

• Assist patients with mobility issues, such as wheelchair loading and unloading

• Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and passenger counts

• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with patients, families, and staff members

• Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience as a bus driver or in a related field preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
