Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Professional to join our team at Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation, a leading healthcare organization in Jefferson City, MO. As a Laundry Professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the provision of quality laundry services to our residents, while maintaining a commitment to environmental cleanliness and sanitation. Principal Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general housekeeping/cleaning duties in various areas to maintain the center in a sanitary, safe, attractive, and orderly condition, including all general laundry duties

• Coordinate inventories of clothing and personal items brought in with new residents and mark with proper identification

• Coordinate picking up soiled linen from each wing throughout the shift, prepare articles for washing by unbuttoning, turning pockets out, and unrolling sleeves, and sort soiled laundry into appropriate loads for washing

• Perform other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred

• One year's work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures
