One Step Forward is hiring experienced ABA Therapists and Behavior Technicians for in home opportunities in Lodi, South Hackensack, Garfield, and the surrounding Hawthorne area.

We're looking for individuals who enjoy working directly with children with autism and want to be part of their progress, from developing new communication skills to becoming more independent in everyday activities.

Our current opportunities offer weekday afternoon and early evening hours, with ongoing BCBA supervision and support from our clinical team.

Pay: $22–$32 per hour based on experience

What Your Sessions Will Look Like

Every child has different strengths, needs, and goals. As an ABA Therapist, you'll use individualized treatment programs to help children learn and practice skills during everyday activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one on one ABA therapy in the child's home

• Teaching communication, social, play, and daily living skills

• Supporting independence and positive behavior

• Helping children navigate routines and transitions

• Implementing individualized skill acquisition and behavior intervention programs

• Using reinforcement and prompting strategies

• Collecting accurate data throughout sessions

• Completing electronic session documentation

• Communicating with your supervising BCBA about client progress

Guidance When You Need It

You'll work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who provides ongoing clinical guidance, reviews progress, and helps address challenges that come up during treatment.

You'll also have support from our administrative team for scheduling and other nonclinical needs.

Who We're Looking For

• Previous ABA experience required

• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities

• Background as an ABA Therapist, Behavior Technician, RBT, paraprofessional, special education aide, or similar role

• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans

• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Reliable transportation for in home sessions
