Responsibilities

• Teach and support students in a special education classroom setting

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students' needs

• Follow established special education curricula and instructional guidelines

• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of grades and evaluations

Requirements

• Valid California Special Education teaching credential or applicable authorization

• Previous teaching experience or experience in an educational setting

• Strong classroom management skills

• Ability to build positive relationships with students

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong leadership, organizational, and collaboration skills
