Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities:
Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing daily activities and events for residents, including crafts, games, outings, and entertainment programs
Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive atmosphere
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless coordination of activities and events
Participate in the planning and execution of special events, such as holiday celebrations and theme days
Collaborate with staff to identify and address resident needs and preferences
Maintain accurate records and reports on resident participation and activity outcomes
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
Previous experience in a senior living or healthcare setting preferred
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist residents with transfers and ambulation
Valid driver's license (if applicable)
