Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the dietary department, including patient meals, nutrition counseling, and food service operations

• Develop and implement menus and meal plans that meet the dietary needs of patients with varying health conditions and preferences

• Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals to ensure accurate and timely nutrition care for patients

• Conduct quality control checks on food production and service to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies

• Provide guidance and training to dietary staff members, including student dietitians and dietary assistants

• Maintain accurate records and reports, including menu planning, food production, and patient nutrition care
