We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated team at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab, one of the nation's largest providers of post-acute care. About the Role:

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

• Guiding patients through therapeutic activities to improve their ability to perform daily living and working skills (ADLs)

• Monitoring patients' progress and reporting any changes to the occupational therapist

• Educating patients and their families on adaptive techniques, equipment, and home exercises

• Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the healthcare team

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with patient evaluations and functional assessments

• Developing and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist

• Providing individualized and group occupational therapy sessions

• Maintaining accurate records and progress reports

• Communicating effectively with the healthcare team

• Educating patients and their families on proper adaptive techniques and exercises

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program

• Current state certification/licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

• Minimum [insert minimum years of experience] years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
