Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Essex County.

About This Opportunity 

Someone who is confident, patient, and comfortable taking the lead, with the ability to set clear expectations and stay consistent. Must enjoy staying active and moving around while supporting a friendly individual in their late 20s who is autistic and nonverbal and enjoys community outings, shopping, the library, parks, baking and cooking

What You’ll Do 

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community. 

• Provide community outings

• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals. 

• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs. 

• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions. 

• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team. 

Qualifications 

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule. 

• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one. 

• EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training. 

Schedule: 2 days a week – Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, 3:30–6:30 PM. Schedule can be flexible.
Pay: 19-21/hr

Driving on shift: REQUIRED
