About the RD Registered Dietician Role

As an RD Registered Dietician at Willow Terrace, you will be responsible for developing and implementing personalized diet plans for our residents, taking into account their unique needs, health conditions, and preferences. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care and service to our residents. Your expertise will be instrumental in promoting healthy eating habits, managing chronic conditions, and improving overall health outcomes.

RD Registered Dietician Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of residents, identifying areas for improvement and developing individualized diet plans

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement diet plans, ensuring optimal nutrition and health outcomes for residents

• Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits

• Monitor and track resident progress, making adjustments to diet plans as needed

• Collaborate with our food service team to develop menus and ensure compliance with dietary requirements

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nutrition and dietetics

RD Registered Dietician Requirements

• Must have Long Term Care experience as a Registered Dietician

• Current Registered Dietician (RD) certification in Pennsylvania

• Ability to work effectively with a diverse population of residents, families, and caregivers
