Hanover Hall Nursing and Rehab
Hanover Hall Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dependable and experienced Cook to join our skilled nursing facility. The Cook assists with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in accordance with planned menus, special diet orders, and established portion control procedures.
Full-Time | 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Every other weekend and Holiday
Pay will depend on experience
Prepare all food served to residents.
Plan food production to coordinate with scheduled meal serving hours.
Memorize, record, and understand menu items, abbreviations, plate presentation, and portion sizes.
Follow standard recipes and special diet orders.
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
High school education or equivalent.
One year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other healthcare setting preferred.
Culinary school experience preferred.
Ability to follow recipes, special diet instructions, and food safety procedures.
Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
