Colonnades Assisted Living is looking for a dependable, motivated, and experienced Cook to join our dietary team! We are seeking someone who takes pride in preparing delicious, home-style meals and enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of seniors.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve nutritious, home-style meals for our residents.

• Follow established menus, recipes, and resident dietary requirements.

• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.

• Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures.

• Assist with meal planning, food preparation, and kitchen inventory.

• Work closely with the dietary team to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Accommodate resident preferences and special dietary needs.

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience preferred, especially in assisted living, senior living, or a commercial kitchen.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy kitchen.

• Dependable, organized, and able to work well with others.

• Positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide quality meals for seniors.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
