Job Summary:

The Palms at Sebring is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented CNA Activities Assistant to join our dynamic team! As a CNA Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning, organizing, and implementing activities that promote socialization, recreation, and overall well-being. Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and implement activities for residents, including social events, games, arts and crafts, and outings

• Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement activity programs that meet the needs and interests of our residents

• Supervise and assist CNAs with daily living activities, such as grooming, bathing, and dressing

• Assist with medication management and monitoring resident care

• Record and report resident participation and progress in activities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control standards

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff

Requirements:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 2 years of experience in a healthcare or senior living setting

• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
