Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Day Shift

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including assistance with daily living activities, vital sign monitoring, and mobility management

• Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient care and interactions

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and well-being through compassionate and respectful interaction

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure best practices and patient satisfaction

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety and falls prevention

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Texas

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Ability to lift and move patients as needed, with a minimum of 50 pounds lifting capacity

• Must be able to work varying shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays
