Director of Nursing

We're hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) for a skilled nursing facility (SNF) in Toms River, NJ. The salary for this Director of Nursing position is $155,000 to $175,000 a year.

This is a role for someone who has already sat in the Director of Nursing chair. Prior experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / nursing home is required. What You'll Do

• Lead the entire nursing department and set the standard for resident care

• Hire, train, and supervise the nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

• Keep the facility survey-ready and in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Work closely with the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) and the rest of the leadership team

• Oversee clinical quality, care planning, and nursing policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Must have previously worked as a Director of Nursing (DON) in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) / nursing home setting
