Dietary Aide

About the Role:

As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for preparing meals and beverages using specific procedures, serving meals using standards to maintain sanitation and quality, and storing stock appropriately to maintain cleanliness and prevent food spoilage. You will also accurately record meals served and monitor temperatures of food, clean assigned dining areas using appropriate procedures, wash dishes and/or utensils according to acceptable standards of practice, and ensure compliance with sanitation standards. Additionally, you will participate in menu planning and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepare meals and beverages using specific procedures

• Serve meals using standards to maintain sanitation and quality

• Store stock appropriately in order to maintain cleanliness and prevent food spoilage

• Accurately record meals served and monitor temperatures of food

• Clean assigned dining areas using appropriate procedures

• Wash dishes and/or utensils according to acceptable standards of practice

• Ensure compliance with sanitation standards

• Participate in menu planning

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 0 years of experience in a food service or healthcare setting

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
