Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations

• Partner with the Administrator to drive the overall success of the facility and achieve strategic goals

• Develop and implement programs, policies, and procedures to ensure quality care and services

• Supervise and train team members, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and knowledge

• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including residents, families, and healthcare professionals

• Foster a culture of respect, inclusivity, and teamwork within the facility

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accreditation standards

• Attract, develop, and retain top talent in the nursing department

Requirements

• RN license in good standing with the state of OH

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• At least 2 years of experience as Director of Nursing in long-term care

• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills

• Ability to implement programs, policies, and procedures that are necessary for providing quality care
