RN Registered Nurse Med Surg/Telemetry - Quincy, IL

Join a dynamic Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology team providing specialized pre-procedure, post-procedure, and Phase I/II recovery care. This is a high-priority travel opportunity for an experienced RN seeking a fast-paced cardiac environment.

Position Highlights

• Profession: RN

• Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Schedule: 3x12-hour day/night shifts

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

• Every other weekend required

• Holiday rotation required

• No call or standby requirement

• Float to like units only

• Charting System: EPIC

• Accepts local clinicians

• Trauma Level II, acute care setting

• Black scrubs

Minimum Requirements

• Active IL RN License

• Minimum 1 year of Recent surgical Med Surg experience required

• Total joint replacement experience required

• EPIC experience required

• BLS through AHA

• NIHSS certification

• Telemetry experience and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms

• Experience with PCA pumps and reversal medications such as Narcan

• Experience with TPN and lipids

• Strong sepsis management skills

• Comfortable caring for high-acuity, fast-paced patient assignments

• Must be comfortable with a primary nursing care model

• BSN not required
