Job Summary:

Flawless Family Home Care, an award-winning Illinois licensed home services agency, is seeking dependable Home Caregivers to provide non-medical home care to older adults and individuals with disabilities in Streator and surrounding communities. As a Home Caregiver, you will help clients remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible in their own homes.

Current Openings:

We currently have several late-morning, afternoon, and early-evening caregiving opportunities in:

• Streator
• Ottawa
• Peru
• Utica
• Dwight
• Minonk
• Grand Ridge
• Nearby surrounding communities

Current scheduling needs include:

• Late-morning shifts
• Afternoon shifts
• Early-evening shifts
• Weekday opportunities
• Every-other-weekend availability required
• At least 15 hours of weekly availability during our current scheduling needs

Caregivers with broader availability and a willingness to work with more than one client generally have the best opportunity to build additional weekly hours.

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and supervision
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Provide toileting and incontinence care
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed
• Prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders
• Offer dementia support and redirection
• Assist with errands or transportation when authorized
• Help clients remain safe and comfortable at home

What We’re Looking For:

• Dependable and reliable with scheduled shifts
• Caring, patient, and professional
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• Able to work independently in clients’ homes
• Able to follow an individualized care plan
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the office
• Willing to travel to client homes throughout the surrounding service area
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle
• Current auto insurance

Previous caregiving, CNA, assisted living, home care, or dementia experience is preferred, but prior experience is not required for all current openings.

Pay and Benefits:

• $17.00–$18.00 per hour based on verified caregiving experience
