Job Summary:
Safe and Sound Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Duty Caregiver to join our team in the Oxford, MS area. As a Private Duty Caregiver with Safe and Sound Home Care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our elderly and disabled clients, providing one-on-one care and support to help them live safely and independently at home.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.

• Assist with medication management and ambulation.

• Help clients with mobility around the house or outside, including accompanying them to doctor's appointments and walks.

• Plan and prepare meals.

• Complete client shopping or accompany them on errands.

• Perform housekeeping duties.

• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency.

• Offer activities essential for daily living, including assisting with meals and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to continuously learn new skills.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.

• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.

• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year).

• Willingness to enforce safety standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent/experience as a Caregiver.

• Take pride in providing high-quality care.
