Now Hiring – Part-Time Unit Clerk

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Accela Rehab & Care Center at Manalapan is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Unit Clerk to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting and be familiar with PointClickCare.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clerical support to the nursing unit.

• Maintain accurate and organized resident records and documentation.

• Enter and update information in PointClickCare.

• Assist nursing staff with daily administrative needs.

• Prepare, organize, and distribute paperwork and documentation.

• Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.

• Communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

• Assist with coordinating appointments, transportation, and other resident-related needs as assigned.

• Maintain confidentiality of resident and medical information in accordance with HIPAA requirements.

• Monitor and maintain unit supplies and report supply needs to the appropriate department.

• Assist with maintaining an organized and efficient nursing unit.

• Perform other clerical duties as assigned by nursing or facility leadership.

Qualifications

• Previous Unit Clerk, Medical Secretary, Nursing Unit Coordinator, or healthcare clerical experience preferred.

• Familiarity with PointClickCare is required.

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting strongly preferred.

• Strong computer and data-entry skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy healthcare environment.

• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive resident information.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Part-Time
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
