Job Summary:

As a Transportation CNA at Avir at Paluxy, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of our patients to and from our rehabilitation center. With a focus on providing exceptional patient care and a patient-centered approach, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate and personalized care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport patients to and from appointments, therapy sessions, and other scheduled activities

• Ensure proper use of wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices

• Provide basic care and hygiene assistance as needed

• Document patient transportation and care provided

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans

• Maintain a clean and organized transportation area

• Schedule appointments for residents

• Set up alternate transportation as needed

Requirements:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic life support (BLS) certification

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
