Pay Rate: $17–$22 per hour

West Volusia Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, service-oriented Concierge to help create a welcoming and supportive experience for our residents. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships, respond to resident needs, and work closely with facility departments to ensure residents feel heard, valued, and cared for.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support, companionship, and exceptional customer service to residents.

• Serve as a liaison between residents and facility departments to ensure their needs are addressed promptly.

• Assist with non-clinical resident requests, including delivering ice, adjusting pillows, reading mail, answering questions, and providing general assistance.

• Welcome and support new admissions, helping residents feel comfortable and informed during their transition.

• Conduct follow-up visits with residents and coordinate with appropriate departments to promote resident satisfaction and well-being.

• Walk facility floors daily to monitor and enhance the overall resident experience.

• Support the admissions team by obtaining signed admission agreements.

• Communicate resident concerns and requests effectively to appropriate team members.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions when necessary.

• Willingness to learn and implement new practices and procedures.

• Ability to read and interpret financial documents and reports.

• Proficiency with computer systems, software applications, and standard office equipment.

• Compassionate, professional, and comfortable working with seniors in a healthcare environment.
