Location: New Haven Manor, Far Rockaway, NY
Schedule: Evenings, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, including weekends
Duration: Approximately 3 months
Pay: $19.65 per hour
Start: Immediately

The W Group is looking for a dependable, caring Home Health Aide to join our team on a temporary basis while one of our team members is on maternity leave. This is a great opportunity to gain assisted living experience, get to know our team, and make a real difference in our residents' daily lives. Strong performers will be considered for future permanent openings.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility

• Support residents with medications according to facility protocol

• Complete light housekeeping and laundry to keep residents' spaces clean and comfortable

• Provide companionship and emotional support, treating every resident with dignity and respect

• Observe and report any changes in residents' condition to the supervisor

• Document care accurately and on time

What You Bring

• Current New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certification

• Recent physical, including drug screen, PPD, and Rubella and Rubeola titers

• Availability for evening shifts, including weekends

• Reliability and punctuality, with a positive, self-motivated attitude

• Patience, compassion, and respect for older adults
