Job Summary:

We are seeking a warm and welcoming Receptionist to join our team at AdviniaCare Scallop Shell. As the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and respectful atmosphere within our community. Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail will ensure a seamless experience for everyone you interact with.

Responsibilities:

• Greet residents, families, and visitors in a warm and professional manner

• Answer incoming calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members

• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries

• Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming

• Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing

• Provide excellent customer service, responding to resident concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and social services, to ensure seamless communication and efficient care delivery

• Assist with special events and activities, such as resident move-ins and celebrations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset

• 0 years of experience in a healthcare or customer service environment; training will be provided

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly

• Familiarity with basic computer software and technology
