Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled CNA to join our team at Generations Ashe, a leading provider of home care services in Ashe County, North Carolina. Responsibilities:

• Provide Level I-Level III care to clients, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Assist with mobility, gait training, and transfers using assistive devices

• Administer medications and perform wound care as needed

• Monitor and maintain client safety, reporting any concerns to supervisors or case managers

• Provide companionship, socialization, and caregiver respite to clients

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and progress

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Must hold a current N.C. unencumbered Nurse Aide I Certificate issued by the Division of Facility Services (Guidelines/Regulations per the NA I and Health Care Personnel Registry)

• Possession of a valid N.C. driver's license

• Reliable vehicle for travel to and from client homes

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods

• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a CNA or in a healthcare setting

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or First Aid

• Knowledge of local community resources and services
