Position Type: Part-Time | 20–25 Hours Per Week
River Terrace Retirement Community in Bluffton, IN, and Kendallville Manor in Kendallville, IN, are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to provide rehabilitation services across both facilities.
This position offers approximately 20–25 hours per week split between the two locations, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents' mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

Hours split between River Terrace Retirement Community in Bluffton, IN, and Kendallville Manor in Kendallville, IN
Schedule to be coordinated between both facilities
Evaluate residents' physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments and functional goals.
Provide physical therapy interventions to improve strength, balance, mobility, coordination, and range of motion.
Assist residents in improving functional independence with transfers, ambulation, and activities of daily living.
Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed to support optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with nursing staff, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and safety precautions.
Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure all therapy services comply with applicable state and federal regulations and professional practice standards.
Promote resident safety and maintain a supportive, encouraging rehabilitation environment.
Current Indiana Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric care preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing compassionate, individualized, patient-centered care.
Ability to travel between the Bluffton and Kendallville facilities.
Flexible part-time schedule of approximately 20–25 hours per week.
