Dietary Manager

The Dietary Manager oversees daily dietary operations and ensures residents receive nutritious meals and appropriate dietary services in a safe and sanitary environment

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily dietary department operations.

• Coordinate meal preparation and service.

• Ensure menus and special diets are followed.

• Supervise dietary employees.

• Maintain food-safety and sanitation standards.

• Monitor inventory and supplies.

• Coordinate with nursing and clinical staff regarding resident dietary needs.

• Maintain required documentation and records.

• Assist with inspections and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary management experience preferred.

• Long-term-care experience preferred.

• Knowledge of food safety and therapeutic diets.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
