Behavior Technician | Work One on One With Kids

Looking for an after school position where you can use your ABA experience to make a difference for one child at a time?

One Step Forward is hiring a Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist for an in home opportunity in the East Brunswick and Monroe Township area.

You'll work one on one with a child with autism, helping them build communication, social, behavioral, play, and everyday living skills while following an individualized ABA program.

This is a part time position with consistent weekday afternoon and early evening hours.

Pay: $22–$32 per hour based on experience

Build a Consistent After School Schedule

We're looking for someone who wants more than an occasional shift.

You'll work with the same client on a consistent weekly schedule, giving you the opportunity to get to know your client, understand their goals, and see the progress you're helping them make over time.

Current opportunities are available during weekday afternoons and early evenings after school.

What You'll Do

Your client's treatment program will be developed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

During sessions, you'll:

• Provide one on one in home ABA therapy

• Help your client build communication and social skills

• Work on play, independence, adaptive, and daily living skills

• Implement individualized skill acquisition programs

• Follow behavior intervention and behavior reduction programs

• Use evidence based ABA strategies including reinforcement and prompting

• Collect accurate data throughout each session

• Complete electronic session documentation

• Communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA

You'll Have Clinical Support Behind You

Although you'll work independently with your client in their home, you won't be on your own clinically.

You'll receive ongoing supervision and guidance from an experienced BCBA, along with support from our clinical and administrative team.

We make every effort to match therapists with cases based on location and availability to help create schedules that are realistic and consistent.

What We're Looking For

Previous ABA experience

Your experience may include working as a:

• Behavior Technician

• ABA Therapist

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

• Paraprofessional

• Special education aide

• Behavioral health professional

Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, patient, professional, and able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule.

Reliable transportation is required for this in home position.
