Maintenance

We’re a compassionate care-centered community providing comfort and safety for older adults. Our facility is more than a place to live—it's a place to thrive. As our Maintenance Technician, you’ll ensure that our residents’ environment stays safe, functional, and welcoming every single day.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily checks and preventive maintenance on facility systems

• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues

• Ensure safety and cleanliness of common areas, resident rooms, and outdoor spaces

• Respond to urgent repair requests promptly and professionally

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and safety documentation

• Support team in preparing rooms for new residents or events

• On Call as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred

• Experience in building maintenance, ideally in healthcare or residential settings

• Strong knowledge of safety codes and basic building systems

• Ability to interact respectfully with elderly residents and staff

• Solid organization and time management skills

• Applicants must be able to perform light to moderately heavy physical labor and be able to read and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.

  The starting hourly rate for this position falls between $18.00 and $19.00 per hour. Exact hourly placement within this range is determined in good faith based on a candidate's relevant history and overall experience.
