At The Terrace of Delray Beach Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain independence.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team. As a PTA, you will assist physical therapists in the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of our residents. You will help patients with orthopedic rehabilitation, wound care, and other health conditions, with a focus on promoting independence and self-care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the evaluation and treatment of patients, including exercises, manual therapy, and educational programs

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physical therapists

• Monitor and report patient progress to physical therapists and other healthcare professionals

• Provide residents with physical therapy treatments, including manual therapy, modalities, and exercises

• Participate in patient education and discharge planning

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient treatment and progress

Requirements:

• Must possess an Associate's degree or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies

• Current PTA licensure in the State of Florida

• Minimum of 1 years of experience, with a passion for working with seniors and rehabilitation, preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs), preferred
