Mandarin-Speaking Live-In Caregiver

Pay: $18–$21 per hour, based on experience and care needs

Make a meaningful difference through care and connection. CareBuilders at Home is seeking a compassionate, dependable Mandarin-speaking caregiver for a live-in assignment supporting a Chinese-speaking older adult at home.

The ideal candidate brings caregiving experience, patience, and the ability to communicate comfortably in Mandarin while respecting the client’s preferences, routines, and cultural background.

What You’ll Do

• Provide companionship and attentive, respectful support.

• Assist with personal care, daily routines, mobility, and safe transfers according to the care plan.

• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping.

• Observe and promptly report changes in the client’s condition to the care team.

• Document care provided and communicate relevant updates.

• Follow agency policies and protect client privacy.

What You’ll Bring

• Conversational fluency in Mandarin—required.

• Availability for a live-in assignment.

• Previous caregiving experience, whether professional or caring for a family member.

• A warm, patient approach and dependable work habits.

• Ability to safely perform the duties outlined in the client’s care plan.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

• CNA, HHA, or PCA credentials preferred, but not required.
