Haven of Bridgeport is looking for a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activity Aide to join our team! If you enjoy working with people and creating meaningful experiences, this is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents every day.

As an Activity Aide, you’ll help plan and lead engaging activities that promote socialization, independence, creativity, and overall quality of life.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and assist with group and one-on-one resident activities

• Plan and support recreational programs, special events, and celebrations

• Encourage resident participation and social engagement

• Build positive relationships with residents and promote a sense of community

• Assist with Resident Council meetings and monthly engagement initiatives

• Maintain accurate activity documentation

• Work collaboratively with nursing, therapy, and other departments

• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in activities, recreation, social programming, healthcare, or senior living is preferred

• Compassionate and enthusiastic approach to working with residents

• Creative and energetic personality

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Dependable, responsible, and able to work as part of a team

• Must be available to work 3:00 PM–7:00 PM and every other weekend
