We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Tech to join our team at Paradigm Recovery Centers in Sedalia, MO. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients. Responsibilities:

· Monitor and support clients throughout the program day and maintain a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment.

· Assist with daily program activities, groups, educational activities, and recovery-focused programming as directed by clinical staff.

· Observe client behavior, mood, participation, and interactions and promptly report significant changes or concerns to the appropriate clinical staff.

· Provide encouragement and support to clients in developing positive coping skills, recovery behaviors, communication skills, and healthy routines.

· Assist clinical staff with maintaining structure, organization, and appropriate client participation within the treatment environment.

· Support client engagement and adherence to program expectations, policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

· Complete required observations, logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and timely.

· Assist with client arrival, departure, transitions, breaks, meals, activities, and other program-related routines as assigned.

· Participate in crisis prevention and intervention procedures and immediately notify clinical staff of safety concerns, behavioral emergencies, or changes in client condition.

· Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and protect client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and Paradigm policies and procedures.

· Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate relevant observations regarding client behavior, participation, and progress.

· Provide culturally responsive, respectful, and person-centered support to clients.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment and report environmental or safety concerns to appropriate staff.

· Perform other duties as assigned based on program needs, applicable laws and regulations, licensing requirements, accreditation standards, and Paradigm policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• 1 years of experience in behavioral health or a related field

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a behavioral health-related field preferred

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
