Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of patient/resident meals in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures

• Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, inventory, and patient/resident diets

• Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of food and supplies

• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare special diets and meals for patients/residents with specific needs

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, residents, and families, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort

• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient/resident care and satisfaction

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Basic knowledge of nutrition and food service principles

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
