We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team at Roswell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, located in the heart of historic downtown Roswell, Georgia. Job Summary:

As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and implementing various activities for our residents. You will work closely with our activities director to ensure that our programming meets the needs and interests of our residents, taking into account their abilities and physical limitations. Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with transportation, documenting attendance at activities, and collaborating with volunteer staff to ensure the smooth operation of our programs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the activities director in planning, organizing, and implementing various activities for our residents

• Meet resident needs and interests, taking into account their abilities and physical limitations

• Assist residents with transportation to center activities

• Document attendance at activities

• Work with volunteer staff to ensure smooth operations of activities programs

Requirements:

• Previous experience in long-term care is preferred

• CNA certification is a plus

• Availability to work full-time hours, including weekends

• Ability to create a fun and engaging atmosphere for our residents
