Center Based ABA Therapist | Work With Kids

Love working with children but not the driving that often comes with in home ABA?

One Step Forward is hiring ABA Therapists / Behavior Technicians to join our team at our Forked River center.

We currently have opportunities during both morning and afternoon/early evening hours, making this a great fit whether you're looking for daytime hours, after school hours, or a combination of both.

You'll work one on one with children with autism while having your BCBA, fellow therapists, and clinical team right there at the center.

Pay: $22–$32 per hour based on experience

What Your Day Will Look Like

You'll work directly with children using individualized ABA treatment programs developed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Depending on your client's goals, you'll help build skills in areas such as communication, social interaction, play, independence, daily living, and appropriate replacement behaviors.

You'll also:

• Implement individualized skill acquisition programs

• Follow behavior intervention and behavior reduction programs

• Use evidence based ABA strategies including reinforcement and prompting

• Collect accurate data throughout sessions

• Complete electronic session documentation

• Communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA

• Help children practice skills throughout their everyday center routines and activities

Morning or Afternoon — Find the Schedule That Fits

We're currently looking for therapists with availability during weekday mornings as well as weekday afternoons and early evenings.

You do not need to be available for every time period. We're looking for dependable therapists who can maintain a consistent schedule based on the hours they commit to.

This makes the position a great option for someone looking for part time daytime hours, after school hours, or additional ABA hours throughout the week.

Who We're Looking For

Previous ABA experience

Relevant experience may include:

• ABA Therapist

• Behavior Technician

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

• Paraprofessional

• Special education aide

• Behavioral health professional

Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, professional, enjoys working one on one with children, works well as part of a team, and can maintain a consistent weekly schedule.
