Do you live in the Coeur d’Alene/Post Falls area but are willing to travel to Spokane to care for clients who truly need dependable, compassionate support?

Nurse Next Door is looking for reliable caregivers who are willing to travel to clients throughout the Spokane area. While we welcome applicants who live in Coeur d’Alene and surrounding North Idaho communities, all clients for this position are located in the Spokane, Washington area.

Mileage reimbursement is provided for qualifying travel to clients.

Who You'll Be Caring For

Our clients come from a variety of backgrounds and walks of life.

You may work with:

• Seniors who appreciate a more traditional, "old-school" approach to care and companionship

• Veterans

• Clients who need assistance with activities of daily living and personal care

• Individuals and families who simply need a dependable caregiver

*We're looking for caregivers who can adapt to different personalities, households, routines, and care needs while treating every client with dignity and respect.

What You'll Do

Depending on the client's care plan, responsibilities may include:

• Companionship and conversation

• Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living

• Meal preparation

• Light housekeeping

• Medication reminders

• Mobility and transfer assistance

• Transportation and errands as assigned

• Providing dependable and consistent care

• Communicating changes or concerns to the Nurse Next Door team

We're looking for caregivers who are:

• Willing and able to regularly travel from North Idaho to clients in Spokane

• Dependable and committed to scheduled shifts

• Comfortable working independently in clients' homes

• Patient, compassionate, and respectful

• Comfortable working with seniors, veterans, and clients with a wide variety of personalities and needs

• Strong communicators

• Able to follow care plans and directions

• Reliable with transportation

Previous caregiving, CNA, home care, healthcare, or similar experience is preferred.
