Dietary Aide Job Summary

The Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, food service, dining area setup, and kitchen sanitation while helping ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and appropriate meals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages according to established procedures

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times

• Assist with food preparation and support kitchen staff as needed

• Deliver and serve meals to residents

• Set up and clean dining areas

• Assist with kitchen cleaning, maintenance, and organization

• Monitor and take inventory of food and kitchen supplies

• Assist with nutrition education programs and departmental activities

• Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous Dietary Aide or food service experience preferred

• Experience with food management, cost control, or diet therapy is a plus

• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

• Reliable transportation required

This role requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening.
